When I say "top' dog walk I don't just mean one of the best, I mean the one highest up! The views are stunning from all the beacons, even if you don't like heights {me} or aren't allowed off a lead {the dogs} or have been coerced there by your mother {my son} ;)

Spring arriving in the Forest
Even the most ordinary Forest walk is full of spring light and bright bright green these days. Taken on a spring morning as the mist burnt away to blue skies, these photos are almost a week old now and I can't believe the difference in greenery since then to now either. Spring is THE most positive season to be outside isn't it? It can't fail to lift the spirits!

A light dusting...
The mountains were snowy, and patches of higher ground.
It was very sunny tho, and muddy not frozen underfoot. Not a season so much as all seasons.
Some were more happy than others with the snow - Stella did a billion laps of the paths, up and down, up and down.
As a single coated breed she wears that coat to keep her warm, but I'll be honest I am very grateful it keeps part of her clean(er) Trust me, this is not a good season to be house proud..
