Not sure how anyone local gets anywhere fast, but I have a habit of stopping for photos. If I don't stop for photos I have to exclaim loudly about the light (- OH THE LIGHT here is awesome-) and the views, its a photographer thing...

green green hills of home
Whilst I appreciate the backdrop the mountain ranges give us, and I think climbing the mountains is rather cool and the views are lovely, it is actually these sort of hills that I think are the most beautiful. Nothing beats rolling hills, green as always, peppered with sheep and ponies, scattered with mighty oaks, rambling hedges and slate slides. Perfection, don't you think?
