Sneak peek for Mrs H!

So much of my actual photography work is very private to the client and I am unable to share ie; its for a school, for a surprise gift or boudoir. It was nice today to do a family shoot, that is very shareable indeed :)

Sibling shoot, outside in the absolutely freezing sunday morning lovely fresh air. ;) 

Todays shoot...

was a lot of Autumnal colour, 

with some monochrome thrown in, just because ;) I love this one :)

 

With the freezing rain and the rather strong winds lately, there are a whole lot less leaves on the trees around here.

Which is good if you're a gardener. But rather sad if you are all about taking the pretty autumn colour photos...

 

But never mind, winter shoots have their own glory; frosty mornings; silhouetted trees, and bright dew soaked grass. The year is definitely moving on fast!

Waaaaaaaiiiiiiiiting for Teen duaghter to try on clothes is not a short period of time. nor a fun one, nor a productive one usually. Its never a good idea if we all go...

Actually I may have answered my own question.. I was going to say why does Daisy only like the sparkly shoes when we are shopping? but then I looked back at the previous picture... hahahaha

On top of this I have built two Wedding albums {- built them yes, as in designed each page layout and assembled a book to be printed!}
and placed a big fat order at my lovely prolabs for prints.

Now tho, I have to go scrapbook a page, I am missing scrapbooking so!!

 

sunday's shoot

Word about the women's portraits on my site seems to be spreading... plenty of volunteers for awesome shoots!

{OH, the irony here.... its wasn't actually raining during the shoot - first break in the rain for literally WEEKS - so we faked it with the umbrella and pretended it was!!!!}

wedding preparations

This morning I was part of another wedding, taking the pre-wedding prep photos :)
I think they are my favourite part of the big day... the transformation from normal day to wedding day!

heres is just a few from the morning :) without giving them all away before the bride has seen them :) Congratulations again to Sam & Jon :)

Today's shoot

I am sharing two from R's shoot today.

Shes only 12. Tall, slender and so pretty! 

{I wish I had looked like this at age 12. I was still short, prone to getting muddy, pony riding, tree climbing, v. unsophisticated at 12. To be fair I'm pretty much still like that. Altho not so hot on the tree climbing any more...}

HA! the phrase 'a few photos' really doesnt apply around me...

The Wedding I shot, is officially released, and free for me to show on my website/fb business page and HERE of course :)
I was pondering how to upload 300 and something pictures... but dont panic ;) I thought I would just share a sample instead :) 

The black and whites are from the morning, the getting ready at the Bride's parents house :) One of my most favourite parts of the day!

We did take some proper traditional shots, but it's no surprise, the ones I like best are the ones that are my kinda thing; 'reportage' style. My second shooter and I were spy-like for the day ;) :)

I really cant chose... so I'm randomly sharing :)

At the church -
Got to be one of my most favourite images from the day. The Bride's Mother is just the nicest person I've met. Here she was telling me she'd forgotten her handbag...LOL 

Stopping off for Mr & Mrs shots :) a few of which you have seen already, 

on to the marquee...

lots and lots of candid guest shots :) a funny dance sequence, and then some group poses :) - I love that the bride wanted hardly any of the standard forced groups. Plus ours were fun anyway :)
