ten on tuesday 30th October 2012

1) I've nearly run out of tuesday! See? thats what happens when you mess up the clocks and the school week...

2) Did you know tomorrow is Halloween? ;) Just in case its slipped by you... ;) My girls are going trick or treating for the first time. Talk about excited! Well, we have had Halloween parties, and been to Halloween parties, in previous years, but we dont live in a community kind of area... Its too big and is full of people going to work, not trick or treating... Luckily the girls go to school in a village and there they still do trick or treat! So that's our {very cold, ridiculous amounts of sweets} evening planned :) 

3) With thanks to my Mum for rustling up costumes :)  

4) Today I made peppermint and chocolate Christmas cookies. I'm obviously over Halloween already ;) hahahaha

5) Christmas decorations {for sale} are out in our local garden centre. The girls adore going there to see the displays. Nice to see none of our tastes have changed, I'm still adamant that Christmas things should be in the Christmas colours of red and green, Mollie would cover the tree in small furry animal ornaments, Daisy would like anything really sparkly, over the top, with glitter that falls off, doesn't have to be remotely festive.....

6) Thats more than a few trees in our house this year then....

7) Already everybody is talking about next year. trips, plans and suchlike. I cannot wait for some of them. But...can we focus on November/December first? I think it might be worthy of our attention!

8) Fell in love with a grey tartan skirt. Tried it on. ummed and ahhhed. Did not buy skirt. Thought about skirt for several days. Made special trip back just to buy it. Sold out across the country. 
- story of my life...sigh

9)  mini me's. Two small shoppers are fully fledged. One obsessed with scarves, one with boots. Both quite sure where they do and dont want to shop. Ah. ooops...

10) Today I learnt how to use hot peeling wax (omfg!) baked unseasonal cookies, and attempted to kill a few mice. Just your average Tuesday really...
