ten on tuesday 11th september 2012

1) That was a very long tuesday. If tomorrow would like to be short, snappy and just generally easier, that would be super fine with me... I may have over-promised myself this week. Nothing like rushing full pelt everywhere... :(

2) Everything in life is better after coffee with a friend. One of lifes simple pleasures :)

3) A parcel of mine has gone officially missing in the post. lovely. should be really easy to get it back/find it because of how efficiently the Royal Mail works. Oh wait...

4) Girly excitement - getting my hair done friday. Its about time - its really gone to pot over the summer - and I have to confess, having my hair done, along with the glorious chit chat,  trashy glossy mags and coffee that comes with it, is one of my favourite ways to spend three hours. 

5) This party that I started to organise. Its nearly here. Ask me what every.single.dream/nightmare has been about for the last few days... I honestly wake up worrying about paper cups, strawberries or that bloody guest list, every morning.
Its rather more stressy in parts than its supposed to be.  And I may have over ordered orange streamers. But you know. it'll be fine. right?!!?? Can we just get to the drinking wine part?!!!

6) Anybody need any PPI claimed back? because the 'lovely' companies that can 'help' you do just that keep calling me. OFTEN.  Let me send them your way instead...!  Today for example,  I ran twice for the phone, once mostly naked from the shower, and once the entire length of the garden, nearly killing myself in the process... only to find it was a recorded message offering to 'help' me claim something I dont have/want/need any bloody help with. AAAAGGGHHHHHHH. 

7) I watched Dr Who on bbc iplayer tonight. { my TV  is on catch up, as usual!} And discovered, in a dark house all by myself, I am still slightly afraid of the daleks. All these years later.... LOL!!!!!

8) Speaking of Dr Who, I was going to get a life sized Dr Who for my party. But I never did :( Oh yes, trust me I have had some crazy ideas for this party. Sadly; most have got vetoed at the sensible table {aka Mr Britguy} but I really wish we had gone ahead with that one!!

9) OH, we are well and truly back to school. I have eight pieces of paper on my desk, - letters and info from both schools. eight letters, in less than one week. I'm not the most organised person as it is, and I'm drowning here folks, drowning. 

10) Having begun to tentatively look around at houses for sale.... we have found a few we quite like. Personally... I'm stuck between the 'ideal' house and the {much smaller} one I just like for no really helpful reason, other than I warmed towards it...
Its fascinating looking round houses online, dont you think? Seeems everybody has painted at least one wall a colour they really shouldn't have, and there are some really dodgy wallpaper choices too.. Basically if its super shiny, or has a lot of pillar box red in it... erm...it wasn't your finest idea... ;)
