Spot colouring. Ugh, ugh, ugh. OH LORDY> just because you can doesn't mean you should. Plus I hope you know the entire photography world is laughing at you if you do.
One button edit. Yes I *know* you can get great buy in effects for your editing software. You can press that one button and BINGO! its sepia. Or rose tinted. Or... just plain awful. Have a look at the levels, the highlights, the underexposed bits and do it properly. By hand.
Soften. Well yes, you wan the skin on your portraits to be gentle and beautiful. But also real. not sort of waxy/blurred/fake. It is always a good idea to be able to recognise how the subject looks in real life!
Auto White balance. Colour casts :( Thats all I have to say.
Overly sharpen. Especially the eyes. ouch. Think REAL and not so much 'twilight'.
