One of the best things about not living in a city is; the excitement of visiting a city. For at least an hour of the car drive you are excited anyway. And then its just too far, and you can't remember why you are going. For the first few hours in a City it is exciting and so new (and really expensive) Its a bit glamorous,, its full of the most amazing choices, and waaaaaaaay to full of people. And nobody talks to anyone. Nope. A thousand people all walking along a street or lining up for something or waiting to cross the road together and nobody makes eye contact or speaks. And you knew this. Having been a city dweller, you DID this. But now it's really weird. Even in the gorgeous morning rush photo I took below there was no voices. Unless they were on a phone and talking loudly, or tooting car horns, they certainly didn't talk to each other, not to me, or say excuse me, or smile or... acknowledge anyone else. It was rather disconcerting. Hustle and bustle, were everyone knew exactly where they were going and the rest of us were quite simply in the way.
