I just spent a frustrating twenty minutes trying to figure out where my favourite TV programs had gone. Had the new winter TV schedule started already? what the heck? Was that previous episode, with no logical ending, a cliff hanger?
Er.... no. I'm a whole day early. I have no concept of day of the week right now.
Because its half term school break. And, not content with screwing my days over with that, the clocks went back yesterday as well. So I dont know what day it is, OR what time it is.
Welcome to chaos. {more chaos than normal ;) }
Its okay, we have something planned for every day this week. Like today when the girls and I left the house and didnt come home for five nonstop keep walking hours. omgosh... {this is my no time for gym today? just keep moving theory, that I put into practise every school break. Works} Not sure how convinced the girls will be by at least part of the plans for tomorrow which is - Hey! watch a movie whilst Mummy edits, woo! - but we will give it a go ;) hahaha!
Even tho Halloween is still yet to come, the stores seem to have given up on that particular holiday and are allllllllll about the festive season.
What are you buying everyone and what about one of these? messages coming full volume from every store display. Made me a bit panicky to be honest....
There also seems to be a mass of 'make your own christmas something' kids crafts everywhere too.
Because its OCTOBER folks! Start getting the kids excited NOW so they can be a real hyped up horrid mess by actual DECEMBER. agghhhhh!!!
Even my son contacted me today. - I have a son? no? really, its news to me as well, I've forgotten what he looks like.... - and so I am under the OH WOW I have four kids brain meltdown that school break is. four. all very different. all asking me something at once. {In person, via text, or just very loudly} All wanting something at once too. {Usually money or food. Or lifts, or lifts and money with food....}It's mad.
Its lovely. but its mad. and frankly I like the end of half term more than the beginning. The bit where you can see light at the end of the tunnel. Or peace at the end of the questions.
Now what day is it again?
