1) Enjoyed this video from Coldplay :) Still love that album.

2) Tis the season of boots, socks and leg warmers. yes really. You know youre old when... a particular fashion makes it second appearance in your life! I knew I needed some, for that skinny ankles with short boots and tights moment, but had to wait til Elle and Harpers magazine agreed with me !!

3) It hasn't stopped raining.... Its not wild and exciting rain, its not a storm, its not a hot summer downpour... its this incessant rain of the very grey and dull variety. blah. How the hell I got motivated to do anything today is a miracle....

4) I found the downside of my saying yes year... aside from the cost ;) If you say yes to everything, there will be some things you cant do because you signed up for other things... SO MANY trips, outings and experiences going on. I cant go on all of them. But!!! throwing myself into the ones I am doing and hoping the ones I miss come around again!

5) Eastenders :) is awesome right now. Okay, so my life means I usually watch it on catch up rather than as its live, but I'm enjoying it lots.  I love I have quite a big group that don't watch Eastenders amongst my friends. Means I have great plot conversations with the most obscure people....

6) The garden is carpeted in golden leaves. The gardeners will arrive soon and clear them up... looks so tidy! and so fresh! 
and then the leaves will be back in the morning...
talk abut thankless task ;)
Its just like tidying a teenagers room.
but with less laundry scattered about... ;)

7) ...school photos came home. yeah. :( :(  I am sure people think I am offended because I didnt take them... I can assure you its not that.  Its the real bad photo that bothers me, the rubbish lighting, the angle they sit the kids at - wth!??? - and the lack of care with things like hair in face/sleeve caught up/etc etc. I know several people who work for school photo companies, and their photos are NOT LIKE THESE. Rant over.

8) Heard a lovely song on the radio today. liked it so much I googled it when I got home. Release date? Nov 5th.
-Ages and ages away! I'll have forgotten about it by then!! whats the point of that!?  

9) My chickens are quite sad :( They are not ducks and really really dislike rain. bless them.
Nothing is sadder looking than a bedraggled chicken... Maybe all of their run needs a roof!!!

10) Hugo Cat has decided Squirrels are fair game. Particularly the ones who like to dive in our rubbish bins {the total buggers...} .  He literally FLYS across the driveway at them.  But I really wish he wouldnt!!!
These squirrels are tough townie squirrels and approx the same size as Hugo....!!! Not to mention I really really dont want to have to look after a half bitten squirrel that the girls are sobbing over. Or come to think of it, a half bitten Hugo with a Vets bill!!!!

Don't feel old! 90s fashion started coming back around when I was in my mid-20s, and now it's even bigger with flannel and grunge-inspired stuff. :) I would love to see Hugo in action, somehow I envisioned him more of a stalker than chaser.
