I think its been officially cool to be thirty-something since the Tv show Friends said so.
Which isnt helping this evening. The last day of my thirty somethings is ticking away.
I swore I wouldnt mind, its so bloody ridiculous. But I do mind. just a little bit. a slight panic is running thro me...
I've tried the how shallow are you line.
And the age is just a number line.
I've tried reminding myself I am actually fitter, and happier NOW than I was turning thirty.
and I've tried chocolate buttons.
even they didnt help.
Thought I'd come tell my blog, which helps with most things.
Then you can laugh, roll your eyes and tell me not to be silly. I know.

You, my friend, are simply fabulous. Regardless of your age!!! And if it helps, you're still almost 5 years younger than me. :)
Love, love you!!!! And happy birthday!!!!

I felt the same way. Quite frankly, three months later; it still feels strange not to be 30 something. (I'm sure that helped quite a lot.)
Happy early birthday! Wish I could celebrate with you in person this weekend!

I hated being 39 - such an odd number, neither here nor there! I spent the whole of 39 telling everyone I was 40, then in the last week of 39 I began to panic too as realisation dawned that I was actually about to be 40!! 40?? How the heck did I get to be 40?? Where did it all go???
Now, 7 months later, its fine and I feel quietly smug that I am 40 and nobody thinks that I look anywhere near that age - and nor do you!!
Have a great Birthday

Happy, happy birthday!
I can't help - I hated turning 40 and a few years down the track I still hate it.
But you're looking good and feeling great so hold onto that :).
