About this blog ----
Twice now, in the last week or so, people have asked me why I hadnt updated my blog...
I had. They had a particular new internet viewing software* and since upgrading they hadn't been able to view things like updated blogs.... *ahem itwouldnthavehappenedonamac ahem * ;)
So maybe you know, if you ever wonder why its quiet here, you could bear in mind it might not be me, it might be stupid computers? I'm never quiet for long..
And then someone said to me, oh dont just have scrapbook layouts on your blog!
And I thought... well I dont ! But once upon a time- four hundred billion years ago, I began to write a blog because I was trying to 'connect' with possible customers/companies in the scrapbooking/arty/magazine world, that's all I DID have on here.
And then somehow family life moved in and took over.
{As it does in the real world as well...}
And we ended up with the delightful hotchpotch of what we have now.
Recipes and knitting patterns any day now, folks.
{Okay not really. I cant knit and I don't often have the patience for typing out recipes.. ;) }
Then someone asked if my big kids had left the country as I never had photos of them here anymore.
To which I sighed and realised they must know very little about big teenagers. And exactly how much big teenagers sit nicely for my camera. I try, I fail, they complain SO MUCH, I give up. meh...
Its bad enough trying to make them hang up their towels after a shower, never mind be here for pictures. Give me a break here people...
Oh - and often non blogging types - usually completely out of touch with this new fangled internet thing ;) - ask me if its not a bit odd writing my diary for the entire world to read.
I dont actually answer those people. Bless 'em.
But I do roll my eyes ;)
Finally I was asked how come my life is so perfect on my blog.
and that really threw me.
hahahaha...
As it so isnt, I decided they must have just been skimming thro looking at the photos. Which are usually pretty and lovely.
But by doing that, they missed my ranting and complaining, having a crap day/week/month. Where the cat threw up, the dishwasher broke and the bath flooded through into the kitchen below. Where I fell out with my kids/husband/self and something or another broke or got lost.
{Its okay that wasn't all in one week}
I blog. Therefore I am
{usually going on about something...}

I was shocked to read these questions, have they READ your blog at all??? As a daily follower, I know you have recently been adding more layouts and your family photos have been there all along. And a perfect life??? Again, have they READ your blog? Your honesty is obvious! Keep going . . . there are oodles of us who "get" you and have no such questions . . . satisfied readers . . . .

Have been following your blog for some years.
I love reading about all your ups and downs, your rantings in 'Dear So and So' and your thankfulness in Fab Friday. And seeing all the wonderful pictures at the same time. Somehow you reminded me that we can be POSITIVE despite having many difficulties. I love the wittyness and your creative writing.
Probably, that's why people thought you might be having a 'good' life. You are never too negative even in rants. :) I really don't like reading a blog full of depressing rants too...
