ten on tuesday 5th June 2012

1) uh oh... its june already. Like um...where did this year go? what the heck happened to march? april? I really must pay more attention...or work out how to slow time down.

2) Aw, I'm still warm and fuzzy after the Wedding. Very much. I am also suffering a frozen shoulder {and slightly sulking husband} due to the amount of time editing takes. I've only been second shooter at  weddings before, and this was the best learning curve in the world. And yes, a couple of days later my heart rate and blood pressure has pretty much returned to normal!!!! LOL LOL wow... All part of my saying yes plan and going with this crazy flow...

3) I'm writing this sat on the floor, whilst my imac balances on a chair. The furniture is out of the room due to carpets being fitted tomorrow. Of course the unplugging of the mac is the very very vereeee last thing to go ;)

4) I've got to say I hurt tho. I think I am too old to spend this long sat on the floor. Even the pins and needles have stopped. Everything is just numb now... can somebody help me up?

5) End of last week three out of five household members here were sick. As in, really sick, throwing up kind of sick. I was not very comforting to all ill people here, as I was trying NOT to get sick before the wedding. Daisy and I - the only healthy ones left, spent as much time as possible out of the house.  Plus I am very grateful all vomiting has ceased before new carpets..... 

6) This morning I finished editing the wedding pictures that myself and my second shooter took. Then I had a little party dance around the room and asked someone what day of the week it was. Boy that editing really eats up your life!!! 

7) I had to hand my Father back his absolutely amazing lens tho, that he kindly lent me for the wedding. Awww :( . I have a thing about red line lenses. and handbags. and the colour orange, but mostly about red line lenses.

8) I have some very good friends. I am thankful I can count on some lovely people to cheer me up and point me in the right direction when I just cant.take.any.more. And I've had a few of those moments in the last week!!

9) I have the best sandals in the world. They are knotted rope, bang on trend, black, comfy and... cost me £8 in H&M. win win there people :)

10) I'll leave you with the fortune cookie fortune I found today -

I'm so excited for you shooting a wedding! I hear you on the editing, good lord it'll kill ya. Would love to see the results if you can share! :) And ditto on red line lenses...oh yes.... I'm writing down that fortune cookie wisdom, too. Brilliant.
