1) I've just watched, from the upstairs window, the chickens head to bed. Everyday, at dusk, they go up the ladder and go to bed. You cannot convince them to head to bed early, {not without much chicken herding anyway} and they will not be rushed. I think its awesome to watch. 

2) This is my favourite green tea. And I don't buy it because of the fabulous box design. Oh okay, you're right; I did once... ;) but now I buy it because its my favourite :)

3) When was the last time you sent a Thank You card? Not for a gift-you-feel-you-must-send-a-card type of moment, but because you were genuinely thankful? I often think about it, but it gets lost along the way of daily life. However I have been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a few recently, and THEY MADE MY DAY. I stashed them, after much re-reading, with the few others I've ever got. And, marvelled over the fact I made a difference, somewhere, somehow, and cause someone to be moved enough to write a card. Wow. Really wow.

4) I think they should put enough for a whole Union Jack in these limited edition bags of M&Ms. Yes, even including the ones I ate beforehand, there was not enough. Aw. I could go buy two bags, but then I'd eat two bags.. so maybe not!!

5) A fun moment from a recent riding lesson :) Giggling is just delightful, dont you think? :)

 

6) The rain flooded the school playground. And this iPhone photo does not do the foot and a bit of water justice!!! There is a dip in the middle of all that water!!

8) That continous rain {forecast for the next five days at least... nice!!}  has also meant I've given up straightening my hair. It has this natural curl. well... curl may be pushing it, its not that pretty...its more a wild kink :/ and I've been fighting it for ages. Now I give up. I may even 'embrace it' ;) seeing how it's caused a few compliments {or do I meant comments ?:) ha!} and cuts drying/styling time down by 80%!!! ahhh, but I like poker straight hair tho...Thats totally a first world problem to grumble about, isnt it? LOL

9) RIGHT, I've sort of organised my travel this year....Where am I off to?  there's a few workshops, a trip to friends, a girlie-friends-together-might-be-gin-based ;) cruise, and yes, a {most of the} fmaily holiday too. Thing is, there's still quite a lot I'd like to do, and now it seems there isnt enough months in the year left!!!!

10) Can we talk music? We are all singing along in the car to 'we are young'  Its good fun and darn catchy :) I have this 'idea' brewing in my head for a slideshow to this...! uh oh!!
Oh -and! Gosh I love Paloma Faith's latest works. SHES SO GOOD! After singing along, for a few weeks now,to 'Picking up the pieces', I am now totally struck by 'Beauty of the end'. {no link to a video yet}  Genius lyrics. 
Whilst we are talking about song lyrics... am I the only one who thinks there is no way that new Scissor Sisters song, which I like and bop along to, actually says 'only the HORSES..' NO it really doesn't. I think they are having a laugh on us all...

My goodness, that rainy day looks like fall, not summer! Hope it clears up soonest for you - we've even been hearing about the crap weather here! Love that giggling photo, just too darn sweet. And I love that tea logo design too. :) My favorite green tea is mixed with chai, so it has a nice cinnamon/Christmas flavor to it, so I only feel right drinking it when it's chilly. (So, 1/5 of the year!)
