Golden oldies.

mwahahahaha. *ahem*

{I'll explain the title in a moment}

Mr Britguy, as you may know, likes to run 10k races. And his brother likes to ride far and wide on his bike. So it wasnt long before they thought about pairing up and doing a relay.  This Saturday found us at the Eton Rowing lakes, Windsor, whilst they did just that.  I have added here to my list of places to return too. Its the sight of the 2012 Rowing and its rather lovely.

 

Mr BG ran, 

 

then his brother rode, 

 then Mr BG ran again. swapping a time tag as they did so.

And you know what? Despite never having tried this together before, 

they won their group in the relay. 

 

Which was something that made them very happy.
 A little less happy when they discovered 'their group' in the relay was for over 35s and called the Veterans. Oh how their wives laughed at that one. *evil grin* It will give us some ribbing material for some time now...
