I finally got a decent shot of Mollie to use as a POTD. 

In 'real life' shes so very beautiful, but shes very elusive to capture 'just right' by camera. Bless her. so shes todays picture:) woohoo:)

This is good, because as I look thro the part of the book I've made so far {making a book of all this years pictures, making it on Blurb, which lets you download its easy peasy software and do it off-line, in your time and at your pace, fabulous} there is a lack of Miss M. {Mind you theres a lack of everyone aside from Daisy. something to do with her being the only person who spends the day with me! I have another 11 months to do something about it !!!}

I was once asked by an obnoxious foreigner how many times a week do us Brits eat fish and chips?

mhahahaha! 

Because of course thats all we eat ... that and roast beef right? 

{In case you're also a 'foreigner'-obnoxious or otherwise;)- and are wondering; I have no idea how often the rest of UK eats fish and chips but its not normal to eat them loads and loads... we have them at our house once a month I guess at the very most}

25 random facts...

about me. I was sent this on face book, and thought I'd put it here as well, as so many people still arent on facebook. {K- I'm talking about you!!!!!!!!}

1. I am at least as clumsy as the most clumsy person you know. example- Behind my good DIY is usually a wall full of bodged DIY....

2. On my desk is a pile of books and magazines all marked with something I must go back to/do/refer to/mail. and then I never ever open them again.

3. I've pretty much given up watching TV. This gives me lots of free time for photo editing/digital scrapbooking. but means in 98% of social conversations I have no idea what everyones talking about. YOU ALL WATCH TO MUCH TV!! go read a book!

4. I like and try to keep my children young. there is nothing worse IMO than a 5 yr who dresses and speaks like shes 21. plenty of time for that when they are 14!!!!

5. I really want a cuckoo clock. seriously. a big one.

6. I blag it. and I've learnt -finally!- that everyone else blags their way too. I cant cook much, but manage to cook and bake for numerous people. I cant drive well at all, but I do so everyday. Its all about knowing when to wing it and when to say actually, I cant do this. 

7. As a child I was obsessed by Hi-de-hi. a really bad butlins holiday kind of UK sitcom. I adored it. 

8. I type fast. sadly I spell slower than my fingers hit the keys...

9. I used to do lots of 'Am dram" - thats amateur dramatics to you. I was the only kid most of the time in a theatre of adults. I won awards and everything:) bet you didnt know that!!

10. the only things I was good at at school were art, drama and English. I feel this has pretty much equipped me for life tho.

11. I hate housework. and I'm bad at it. I do what I have to everyday and thats it. aside from occasional purges. Listen I figure nobody will ever look at your housework after your dead, but they might look at my photos.... and frankly, photos last longer.

12. Tamala's list reminded me of this one- once in biology class I had to stand up to read out from the text book. {hate teachers who made you do that!} I said, very clearly to an entire class, orgasm rather than organism. took me a while to live that down. apparently theres a big difference.....

13. I have no idea who some of the people who send me friends requests on face book ARE.
if you do, can you explain slowly who the heck you are? 

14. I want to dye my hair drastically. my hairdresser wont let me. so I havent!

15. I have seen youve got mail and bridget jone's diary more times that is prob socially acceptable. so sue me -I like chick flicks. 

16. I just want to travel back to America. In our Rv again. bugger the cost. 

17. I miss my dog. and I want a puppy. Just gotta convince the hubby. 

18. I skived out of games/PE thro most of my High school. hey I'm still like that now. if its not rollerskating, horse riding, ice skating, or hiking I dont wanna play okay?

19. People who say I must have a good camera to take such photos make me want to hit them. I take good photos actually, whatever camera I use. Worryingly the person who says this most in my life is.... MY HUSBAND!!!!

20. I went to a joint forces highschool - children from the airforce, army, navy, Uk and USA,- in Germany. It rocked really. shame I didnt think so then!!

21. My son hates the fact I am 36. he tells me mothers should be 46. and he also tells me to stop laughing and joking with his friends. nice.

22. I used to wear a lace glove like madonna back in the 'like a virgin' days. and back-combed my hair. and tied that up with a strip of lace too. and wear a lot of layered black. I'm so glad we dont have photos from back then!

23. I want to build our own house. in a barn/derelict house shell. I'm becoming slightly obsessed about it. I've even found two plots.

24. If we dont move house this year I'm leaving home... 

25. now I'm a mac girl I cant remember how to work a pc. so many complications.I am hopeless on Hubby's laptop.

seriously, I welcome you Friday cause this week has dragged and paused and wallowed and stank basically.

And tomorrow is no school run day. my only day ever to get  some kind of lie in. 

Not that its a lie-in in the real sense of terms, but I might get to fall back asleep after the girls have got up. And the going-to-work folks have stopped banging about in protest of going to work. And if the doorbell or phone doesnt go. { note to all people in world,  dont, dont, call or visit me before like 11am on a saturday. I will be in denial. which means in Pyjamas too} 

And hey, maybe Daisy and Mollie wont wake me up fifty-six times tonight. Gee; thats what I like about each day, the fresh hope the night will be better than the last. *sigh* 

Mollie is becoming full of cold and feeling blah {shes been well two weeks. its a record} so I do kinda get why shes waking me up and trying to get in my bed for 4am snuggles. Even if I dont like it.

 Daisy however is being a nightmare. Despite the fact she has the cheeriest happiest room, despite the fact Moll is only feet away from her bed, despite the fact we have night lights on, story CDs on, and all that malarky she yells and cries that shes scared. and lonely, and scared. and could she have a drink? and now she needs the bathroom, and shes scared. and could I 'nuggle' her for a little while?  ALL night. allllllllllllllllllllll night this goes on for.  I'm not very child friendly by 6am after nights like these last few.  or Husband friendly. or friendly full stop.  And then I'm tired all day. and then I'm even more tired thro the night. and there we go - horrible circle =my life currently..

Luckily I perk up in the day. and become nicer. or I'd be divorced and childless by now.  My family just have to keep thanking coffee and chocolate {large amounts of both} for making my world go round.....

And then I had fun looking back thro my title banners that are also in an album to the left....

I'll try and keep my photos updated here in the albums. as well as flickr, facebook, DD, and blog posts......... eeek!

There are so many fabulous album covers out there to use as stating points for scrapbook layouts, we're bringing  back the itunes challenge to inspire you to do so! This challenge is not only easy to write but so much fun to research and complete! make sure you let me know if you join in :)

I've had a change  of heart about my 365 project {365 project - take a picture everyday - or pretty much every day!- for a year} I was going to make it into a full bleed photo on each page, no journaling kind of book. BUT after reading the entire thread chatting about it on the Designer Digitals forum I've decided to put each week in a layout and add a title to each picture. That way when I'm a grandmother {no hurry kids BTW!!!!} future generations can not only look back at my pictures but read what the heck they are:)  

I cant tell you how much I wish my parents, or Grandparents had somehow had the opportunity to make something like this, way back when. 

This is why the 365 people are finding they dont mind including pictures of washing machines/shops/cars etc in their pictures - ie; not every picture has to be amazing and outstandingly original- because in 5, 10, 20 years time you will love to look back at such everyday items and see how its all changed.

If you havent started the project and want to - DO SO. No rule to say you had to start on Jan 1st, or indeed that it had to be 365 pictures at the end. Anyway you spin it, it will end in an awesome photo collection.
