silver lining

This morning I was preoccupied with much 'stuff' My head was churning a few things about and not getting anywhere fast. It was looking like a bleak day... cold, no where to go, nothing planned etc.

then I dont know, somehow it turned around and became a very nice day after all.

The girls and I made a board game 'snakes and ladders' we had fun making it and even more fun playing it and introducing Mollie to the whole 'throw a dice, take your turn, try your luck' concept. Daisy has some way to go before she a) stops flouncing off when its not her go, and b) stops standing on the board...LOL

Seriously tho, this was hours of fun from a few bits of card...

we got to mix with two lots of family today too. we hadnt expected too and it was nice. 

the weather was slightly warmer so the girls could actually go outside..this is Daisy playing football with one of her cousins :)

I sorted out a few plans for the coming year, -can anyone believe we are making plans for 2009 and thats in just a few months? wow. I also got some kind words of support from friends too. Makes a girl feel good!

I set up another Christmas gift to make. Awesome. 

My son came home before dark today, which was nice... and my little girls snuggled up together for the scary part of a movie...

ahhh!

then I got a song dedication emailed to me, which made my evening. 

Tomorrow involves coffee, my hubby being home, meeting friends, shopping a little, play dates and photo taking. Looking good then, looking good!
